About the Artist

Having grown up on Puget Sound,
I have a special love for 
water & reflections.  Most of my work
has these elements in it.

 After studying in Florence, Italy
and graduating from Stanford University,
I attended the (then very small) Academy of Art
in San Francisco.  With illness in the family I moved
back to Seattle to work in advertising & graphic design.
Years later I was able to focus full time on Fine Art.

My paintings have been shown & collected
in exhibitions regionally as well as nationally.
      They have earned signature status in the
Pastel Society of America, Northwest Pastel Society 
and Northwest Watercolor Society.
       Exhibiting with Oil Painters of America, and 
the fun & lively CM Russell Auctions, along with
Women Painters of Washington and Plein Air Washington
has brought great enjoyment over the years.
      These days when the sun shines in the Pacific Northwest,
I most enjoy being out in the field with my fellow painter-pals.
